About The Role

As part of our team, you’ll play a critical role in managing projects, guiding clients, leading digital strategy, and coordinating projects. The Director of Digital Strategy is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of digital strategy initiatives and owns specific, high-priority, and high-visibility projects. They are expected to identify opportunities to improve the strategy discipline by bringing new ideas, approaches, and frameworks. They actively mentor and guide more junior strategy team members with hands-on support and guidance. Responsibilities

Client Leadership: Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders; act as the daily lead and strategic advisor across key accounts, driving confidence in digital strategy and execution. Strategic Development: Lead the research, planning, and development of integrated, cross-channel campaigns that align digital, paid media, PR, and creative for measurable business impact. Digital Expertise: Serve as the in-house expert on paid media, SEO, content, and emerging platforms; ensure clients receive forward-thinking strategies that anticipate trends and competitive moves. Account Performance: Oversee quality and operational performance across assigned accounts, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards, stay on budget, and ladder up to client goals. Goal Setting & Measurement: Define clear client objectives, build success frameworks, and ensure performance is tracked against KPIs that matter to business outcomes. Integrated Execution: Guide cohesive strategies across owned, earned, and paid channels, ensuring digital activations are aligned with broader communications and marketing efforts. Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and develop team members; delegate strategically, create growth pathways, and recognize achievements that strengthen retention and morale. Operational & Financial Rigor: Demonstrate fluency in agency economics, including revenue forecasting, profitability, and pricing structures; ensure accounts are financially healthy and efficiently run. Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve client challenges; act as a calm, solutions-oriented leader in high-stakes situations. Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency, alignment, and innovation across accounts. Content & Creative Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and feedback on content development, digital creative, and campaign assets. Market Awareness: Stay ahead of digital and cultural trends, competitor actions, and platform shifts to proactively advise clients on opportunities and risks. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in digital strategy, paid media, or integrated marketing, with proven success leading large client accounts. Exceptional presentation and communication skills; able to inspire both internal teams and executive-level clients. Deep knowledge of digital touchpoints, SEO/SEM, paid social, display, analytics, and the evolving martech landscape. Demonstrated ability to connect digital tactics to broader business goals and brand strategy. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple high-stakes accounts simultaneously. Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience with paid social advertising, including campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis. Strong copywriting skills for search, display, and social ad campaigns. Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and other measurement platforms. Familiarity with advanced tools for audience targeting, attribution, and conversion optimization.
