Overview

As an

Integration Engineering , your primary responsibility will be to assist in the assembly of our Mira space vehicle. You will work across all of the engineering teams in the company to efficiently build and test a reliable and high-performance spacecraft. This will run from May to August of 2026. Responsibilities

Support the assembly and integrated testing of our Mira space vehicle Work side-by-side with talented engineers and technicians on the shop floor Write and maintain work instructions, test plans, and other critical documentation Work on methods for accelerating the rate that we can build and process vehicles Work on tooling and fixturing that supports assembly and transport Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions Minimum Qualifications

Recent completion or working towards a degree in engineering or science Demonstrated hands-on experience with hardware Ability to take project ownership and work well in a small team Skills and Experience

Passionate about the space industry Hands-on experience with product or process improvements Demonstrated experience with CAD software and ability to learn new tools Hands-on experience with basic fabrication tools and processes (electric/pneumatic power tools, tube bending, machining, welding, etc.) Demonstrated experience working on a rocket club, FSAE/SAE or other related hardware team Demonstrated experience authoring and executing work instructions for assembly and test Demonstrated experience developing and executing test plans Demonstrated experience with implementation of basic instrumentation (load cells, strain gauges, thermocouples, pressure sensors, etc.) Minimum completion of 3rd year of undergrad Additional Requirements

Willing and able to work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA for the duration of the This role may require overtime hours; interns are eligible for overtime pay. Additional Information

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
