Marketing Director, Global Pharma
to lead the Global Pharma Marketing team within our Life Sciences contamination control division. This role will be responsible for developing and executing long-term growth strategies to drive double-digit annual growth, commanding a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, driving portfolio innovation, elevating marketing strategies, and leading commercial activation plans in partnership with senior leadership. The Director will manage a high-performing team of global marketing managers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver differentiated solutions that meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers. This role is responsible for identifying key market trends and customer insights and translating them into opportunities to grow the business. The role will lead a team of 8+ associates globally and report to the VP, Global Marketing with a dotted-line to the Global GM, Pharma Strategy, guiding long-term strategic planning processes and initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the long-term strategic plan for the Pharma market with global leaders to drive specific segment plans Lead the creation of global segment strategies, including market positioning, customer segmentation, and competitive differentiation Identify and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities, including partnerships and M&A
Portfolio & Innovation Management
Oversee the full portfolio of contamination control solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturers Drive innovation pipeline development in collaboration with RD&E, Regulatory, and Technical teams Oversee product lifecycle management, including launches, phase-ins/outs, and regulatory-driven updates
Commercial Activation
Partner with Sales, Marketing Communications, and Regional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies Ensure alignment of messaging and value proposition across global markets
Customer & Market Insights
Maintain deep knowledge of customer processes, market dynamics, and competitive landscape Lead customer insight initiatives and develop strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) Conduct market sizing and opportunity analysis to guide investment and resource allocation
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team of high-performing marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to build functional excellence Drive cross-functional alignment and communication across Portfolio, Segment, and Commercial teams
Qualifications MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field 8+ years marketing or related experience 10+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences manufacturing and/or development industry Experience in managing large global and diverse teams Translates the vision/mission of the organization into actionable, quantitative plans Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills Excellent communication and leadership capabilities Compensation & Benefits Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: $141,900 - $212,900. Many factors are considered when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
