In recent months, Hyatt Regency Dallas has taken over the management of historic Union Station Dallas and we are excited to expand our team to facilitate many high profile events at this unique venue. The Event Planning Manager's primary focus is servicing Sales and Event Sales bookings. This position acts as a liaison between the client and the hotel staff and will primarily focus on events at historic Union Station Dallas. The Event Planning Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, hosting sites and tastings, managing room blocks and pick up, ensuring a smooth execution of the event as well as post-event follow up and final billing review. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others. Refined verbal and written communication skills A minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning, preferably in the luxury social market Proficient in general computer knowledge Extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment Ability to build and maintain professional relationships Ability to collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure detailed information is clearly understood and communicated Balance management of on-site events and upcoming events simultaneously Willingness to work late nights, evenings and weekends All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
