Sally Beauty . The Director of Brand and Media will lead the development and execution of integrated brand and media strategies that drive business growth, brand equity, and customer engagement. This role serves as the internal lead for brand creative development and media strategy, manages cross-functional collaboration and external agency partnerships, and guides omnichannel marketing performance and media investments for optimal ROI. This position is hybrid, working at the SBH Support Center—currently located in Denton, TX and relocating to Legacy West in Plano, TX in late fall 2025. Essential Functions

Brand Creative & Content Strategy Lead internal development of brand creative across all channels, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business objectives. Own the content and channel strategy for creative assets, ensuring consistent storytelling across paid, owned, and earned media. Guide creative execution to ensure high-quality, audience-centric, and conversion-driven content. Media Strategy & Performance Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies across traditional, digital, and emerging channels. Own and manage the full media budget, including allocation, forecasting, and performance tracking. Oversee all aspects of performance media, including campaign planning, audience segmentation, channel mix, and continuous optimization. Lead the development of media KPIs and reporting dashboards in collaboration with analytics and finance teams. Agency & Vendor Management Manage and evaluate brand creative and media agencies, ensuring high performance, clear briefs, timely execution, and accountability. Foster strong relationships with agency partners to deliver best-in-class creative and media execution. Negotiate contracts and service agreements with external vendors to maximize value and efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Field Marketing, Social & Influencer Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce, and Store Operations teams to ensure alignment and synergy across all initiatives. Serve as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, translating brand and media strategies into actionable plans that support broader marketing and business goals. Collaborate with analytics and insights teams to inform strategy and measure impact. Qualifications 10-12+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, media strategy, or integrated marketing roles. Strong leadership experience managing teams and external agencies. Proven expertise in both brand and performance media across multiple channels (digital, social, influencer, retail media, etc.). Demonstrated success in leading creative strategy and execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Deep understanding of consumer behavior, media trends, content strategy, and brand storytelling. Exceptional communication, project management, and analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field (MBA or equivalent experience a plus). Agency Experience Preferred Working Conditions / Physical Requirements The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work is sedentary with periods of sitting, walking, standing, bending, and light carrying. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
