Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Managed Care Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading healthcare organization based in Dallas, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong analytical skills, Excel expertise, and a solid understanding of healthcare reimbursement practices. This is a full-time, contract-only position with no defined end date, offering long-term potential for the right candidate. The role is 100% on-site for at least the first 90 days, with the possibility of hybrid flexibility afterward. Position Summary: The Managed Care Analyst is responsible for accurately loading, maintaining, and auditing managed care contracts within the Contract Adjudication System. This role supports financial and operational success by ensuring payer contract terms are correctly interpreted and implemented. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, Excel-savvy, and experienced in healthcare billing and reimbursement. Key Responsibilities: Load, maintain, and audit managed care contract profiles with precision Interpret complex contract terms and reimbursement methodologies (e.g., DRG, APC, CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10) Enter and validate contract terms within the adjudication system Perform advanced data analysis using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Collaborate with internal departments to support accurate claims adjudication Maintain compliance with federal and payer-specific reimbursement rules Handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data Required Qualifications: 5+ years of financial or healthcare data analysis experience Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Strong familiarity with UB04, billing codes, and healthcare terminology Understanding of healthcare reimbursement structures and managed care contracts Ability to interpret legal and financial language related to payer agreements Excellent organizational and communication skills Preferred Skills: Experience with Power Query, VBA, or SQL Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management and payer contracting Exposure to the No Surprises Act Background in hospital billing and coding We proudly represent industry leaders across healthcare, finance, and technology.
