(Associate Research Scientist). NTH is one of two recipients of an NIH-funded

Blueprint Neurotech Incubator

award, which is managed collaboratively with CINTA, the other recipient of this award. Specific Duties & Responsibilities Attend and actively participate in all required meetings, including core weekly meetings, weekly PI meetings, monthly and quarterly reviews, review panels for each funding cycle Partner with NTH Principal Investigators, consisting of four faculty from Johns Hopkins University and two faculty from Howard University, as well as Co-Investigators Develop a deep understanding of all core functions within the Blueprint program and engage leadership in refining and improving processes and policies. Conduct impact analyses identified by the investigative team and contribute to analytic deliverables that demonstrate performance of each core function within NTH. Plan and implement qualitative and quantitative data collection activities. Meet with NIH leadership to provide updates and engage in discussions on programming processes and policies as needed. Participate in discussions and feedback sessions with sponsoring NIH Institutes/Centers program staff preceding solicitations Partner with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and NTH leadership to build an ecosystem that advances outreach and program sustainability, including supporting fundraising efforts. Submit quarterly reports and RPPR's to NIH. Work with the finance team to facilitate completing proposal packages, etc from teams (optimizers, sprinters, and seedlings) Research plan and annual Milestones Facilitate completing Human Subjects research documentation Facilitate completing Animal research documentation Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Prior leadership experience required. Prior experience with NIH as a funding organization preferred. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness. Strong organizational skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment. Demonstrated self-management with the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools required. Comfort engaging with diverse teams and on projects related to human rights, historically marginalized populations, and sexual and gender diverse communities. Strong interest and commitment to MedTech research, translation, and commercialization of research activities. Qualifications PhD in Neuroscience, Neuroengineering, Biomedical Engineering, an MD with Neurology or other related specialization. Leadership experience in research centers.
