FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of History, Philosophy & Political Science at Kingsborough Community College is seeking adjunct faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year, to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas:
Introduction to U.S. Government
American History & related topics
Philosophy in all areas
The selected candidate performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
Qualifications
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor: Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully. For Adjunct Lecturer: Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully. Compensation
Adjunct Lecturer: $100.41 - $107.79 per hour Adjunct Assistant Professor: $109.54 - $116.56 per hour Adjunct Associate Professor: $118.66 - $129.75 per hour Adjunct Professor: $123.23 - $142.94 per hour Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
