Director of Catering Sales
to lead our private event sales efforts and continue to position Luminarias as one of Los Angeles' premier event destinations. The base pay range for this position is $100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Lead site tours and client consultations. Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and event orders. Collaborate closely with the operations and culinary teams. Represent Luminarias at networking events, bridal shows, and industry trade shows. Track sales activity, forecast revenues, and maintain accurate CRM records. Stay current on market trends, competitive set, and industry best practices. Mentor and oversee the catering sales team (if applicable). Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in catering/private event sales. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Experience with catering sales systems, CRM platforms, and event management software. Knowledge of food, beverage, and banquet service operations. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
