Overview
Outstanding opportunity for a full-time or part-time BC / BE adult psychiatrist to provide care in our Adult Outpatient Department. The position is located only 15 miles north of Boston. The psychiatrist provides clinical assessment and follow-up care for patients in our clinic and leads a multidisciplinary clinical team that includes outpatient psychotherapists. Interest in treating Substance Use Disorders is preferred, but formal Addictions training is not required. Other clinical opportunities may include periodic coverage at the newly renovated 120-bed psychiatric inpatient facility. Responsibilities
Provide clinical assessment and follow-up care for patients in the clinic. Lead a multidisciplinary clinical team that includes outpatient psychotherapists. Possibly provide periodic coverage at the 120-bed inpatient facility as needed. Engage in ongoing professional learning and teaching of medical students, PA students, and NP students. Tufts Medical School faculty appointment is available for physicians who participate in medical student teaching. Evening and weekend call with reasonable schedule and compensation. Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible (BC/BE) in adult psychiatry. Interest in Substance Use Disorders preferred; formal Addictions training is not required.
