Overview
The Enterprise Workforce Management team is responsible to lead Citi’s transformation efforts around staffing and skill adequacy and organizational design. It is an exciting time to join our Workforce Management Team as we are a newly formed team, building the capabilities, processes, and tools to analyze, forecast and plan for the future of the workforce. We are a global team with motivated colleagues who want to ensure Citi has the right people, with the right skills, at the right place and time and cost. We are looking for an experienced skills / strategic workforce planning professional to join our team to support the design, development, and implementation of Citi’s global approach to skills and strategic workforce planning. The role will help develop the approach to skills taxonomy development, skills assessment and skills management, and opportunities to partner with business leaders, HR leaders and Talent functions to influence the use, assessment and management of skills. Responsibilities
Contribute to the stand-up and evolution of the Skills Framework and Strategic Workforce Planning function by delivering Workforce Planning Skills solutions. Actively participate in projects and own activities around executing the Skills framework, generate new ideas, solve problems, provide hands-on delivery, and create insightful findings and recommendations. Projects cover skills taxonomies for key roles, governance processes on skills taxonomies, creation of skills profiles, developing a skills assessment framework and process, and creating skill reporting and monitoring mechanisms to review skill progression. Build and continuously improve the processes that define the Skills Management Framework for the enterprise. Contribute to and periodically update procedural manuals and guidelines related to Skills/Strategic Workforce Planning to enable consistent deployment of the process. Partner with HR Advisors and Learning & Development on implementing the annual skills assessment framework and process to assess gaps and progress in closing skill gaps. Interpret data to support businesses in understanding their skills gaps and emerging skills requirements. Review skills assessment outcomes and collaborate with People Insight and other HR functions and business leaders to translate outcomes into talent strategies to fill skill needs. Participate in and deliver the regulatory response specific to the skills process required for Risk and Control roles, including preparing materials for deliverables and Internal Audit requirements. Contribute to the closure of regulatory commitments, including milestones as per Transformation Project Office standards and regulatory commitments audited by IA and regulators. Knowledge/Experience
5-7 years’ experience in at least 2 of the following: transformation, risk remediation, strategic workforce planning / learning / talent development Good understanding of key principles involved in strategic workforce planning. Ability to marshal and interpret a wide range of information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations. Experience presenting complex ideas, data and analysis in a visually accessible way; ability to draft presentations and documentation to communicate conclusions to senior stakeholders. Comfortable working with ambiguity and managing a high-paced environment with changing priorities. Growth mindset with proactive project delivery and ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail while keeping focus on the big picture; ability to connect multiple pieces of work. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills with cross-cultural understanding across multiple geographic locations. Job Details
