The National Director of Operational Excellence drives strategic initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, safety, and profitability within the vending and refreshment services portfolio. Responsibilities
Lead development and execution of strategies to enhance performance across vending and refreshment services operations. Analyze financial, customer, and service data to identify opportunities for cost control, service improvement, and revenue growth. Drive consistency, scalability, and innovation in operational processes, inventory management, distribution, route logistics, and service delivery. Develop and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met or exceeded across regions. Design and implement operational standards, training programs, and audit tools to maintain quality and compliance at all locations. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deploy company-wide initiatives that elevate field operations. Support client retention and satisfaction by optimizing operational excellence and delivering consistent, high-quality service. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on customer feedback loops, service innovations, and program development. Partner with leadership and Support Teams to coach and develop high-performing field leadership. Lead special projects and task forces focused on strategic enhancements or new business onboarding. Identify and deploy technologies and systems to modernize vending operations. Evaluate vendors and suppliers to ensure alignment with operational and strategic objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in operational leadership at a high level, preferably in the vending, refreshment services or beverage industry. Proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and improving financial performance. Strong knowledge of vending operations, micro-markets, distribution systems, and inventory management. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate across all departments effectively. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel nationally 50% of the time as required. About Us
