Overview
General Manager for New York (Strategy & Operations) oversees the New York region P&L (including New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania), builds and leads a high-performing team, and drives market growth. Acts as the face of Blacklane in New York, representing the brand to customers and external stakeholders while reporting to the Americas CEO. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities who thrives in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment. Responsibilities
Market Strategy and Execution : Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy tailored to New York’s dynamics, from corporate travel in Manhattan to airport transfers (JFK, LGA, EWR) and premium leisure clients. Position Blacklane as the premier chauffeur service in New York. P&L Management : Own the New York P&L, ensuring financial targets are met through strategic planning, efficient operations, and proactive cost management in a competitive mobility market. Team Building and Leadership : Recruit, build, and lead a local team across operations, marketing, sales and account management. Foster a positive, collaborative environment and retain top talent in a fast-moving city. Customer Engagement : Deliver exceptional service to high-value clients—including corporate executives and luxury hospitality partners—ensuring customer retention and repeat bookings. Stakeholder Relations : Represent Blacklane across New York’s premium ecosystem; build partnerships with corporate travel managers, five-star hotels, premium lifestyle brands, and airport authorities. Data-Driven Decision Making : Utilize tools such as Google Suite and Tableau to analyze data, track performance, and inform strategic decisions. Additional P&L Considerations : Strong preference for experience driving revenue growth (e.g., sales, marketing) in addition to cost management. Qualifications / About You
