Overview
Sr. Product Manager – Product Management role located in Rolling Meadows, IL and St. Louis Park, MN. This role focuses on leading Xirgo’s video telematics portfolio and driving product strategy, lifecycle, and customer success through cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
Serve as the Senior Product Manager for Xirgo’s video telematics portfolio, including dashcams, multicam platforms, cloud platforms, and AI events Build portfolio strategy and balance complex requirements to achieve business success Create Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), business cases, pricing strategies, competitor analyses, user personas, segmentation, and M&A analyses Gather input from customers, sales, field applications engineering, support, and engineering to define new products, new features, bug fixes, and prioritization Translate complex business requirements, regulatory rules, and market findings into comprehensive technical requirements Collaborate with technical teams to align market needs with technology capabilities and trends Manage Agile sprint planning and grooming sessions Lead product launch activities and coordinate with marketing (market messaging, training materials, collateral) Act as a corporate-wide subject matter expert for video telematics features and stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements Support industry trade shows, analyst interviews, RFPs, marketing materials, campaigns, and demonstrations Work with QA and system test engineering to ensure test coverage for mobile video solutions (hardware, firmware, software) Define needs and guide product documentation (user guides, release notes, installation guides) Facilitate field-facing communications for product design changes, software releases, and lifecycle updates Serve as a liaison to Sales, Field Applications Engineering, and Support to help sell and support video telematics solutions Coordinate with Program Management across product lifecycle phases (development, alpha, beta, launch) Lead customer/user group advisory board activities Prepare product management content for monthly/quarterly business reviews for executives Develop and maintain the video telematics roadmap (devices, software, analytics, AI, ML) and connect with other product lines Develop strategic plans for penetration into existing markets and new geographies Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field Minimum 7+ years of experience in Product Management or similar role, preferably in an IoT device design environment Strong financial acumen to develop business cases, perform market analyses, and present financial data Experience with VoC discovery, MRDs/PRDs, and agile development methodologies Technical aptitude for device design details and complex software applications Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a drive to learn and create Ability to multi-task and manage several milestone projects Ability to manage stakeholders across functions to achieve cooperation Understanding of IoT and imaging technologies (sensors, cellular, Bluetooth, cameras, optics) Experience in the fleet transportation industry and indirect channel sales/marketing is ideal Experience with IoT-focused AI is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. Travel: Up to 20% Salary and Location
Salary Range: $140k-$150k, plus bonus and benefits Locations: St. Louis Park, MN; Rolling Meadows, IL Employment type
