Knowmadics Job Purpose/Summary The Technical Product Manager (TPM) for Knowmadics Space products owns end to end delivery of an in-development AI-enabled anomaly detection and trust reestablishment product. The TPM couples deep software engineering and AI/ML expertise with disciplined program execution skills, synchronizing multivendor model development, secure DevSecOps pipelines, hardened on-prem hardware deployments in SCIF environments, and HMI evolution. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead team execution of product development from concept through deployment, maintaining and delivering on product roadmap, product requirements, and other requirements and artifacts. Maintain sprint and release cycles in coordination with a project manager overseeing an integrated master schedule (aligning contractual, technical, and testing/evaluation schedules and milestones). Chair release readiness reviews; approve promotion of builds to high-side enclave. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

Serve as the authoritative technical point of contact to all USG Stakeholders. Lead onsite demos, test events, and anomaly triage exercises. Be available for on-site meetings, test events, and experiments. AI/ML Technical Leadership

Coordinate model onboarding (internal and from third-party subcontracted vendors). Generate and/or validate data preprocessing contracts, inference APIs, and explainability artifacts. Generate a process for reusable model performance measurement including monitoring and acceptance thresholds (e.g. precision/recall, latency). Backlog Governance

Manage backlog to ensure highest value work is prioritized, balancing AI/ML R&D spikes, infrastructure, HMI, and other work. Maintain backlog health through regular agile ceremonies and asynchronous work, ensuring alignment with roadmap goals. Secure DevSecOps & Compliance

Oversee STIG/ACAS pipeline; manage OS patch strategy (Linux/Windows waiver paths) Ensure artifacts meet NCATT and other required cyber standards. Liaise with customer site IA for scan findings and remediation SLAs. Cross-Functional Team Leadership

Direct matrixed software, MLops, HMI, and hardware SMEs (~10 FTE). Facilitate agile ceremonies and enforce engineering best practices (code review, automated testing, IaC, container hardening). Continuous Improvement & Documentation

Institutionalize post engagement summaries → Jira tickets workflow. Publish technical onboarding packs, interface control documents, and ops run books. Qualifications

Education – BS in Computer Science, Aerospace, or related engineering field (MS preferred). Experience – 10+ yrs delivering complex C4ISR or space domain software; 5 yrs leading Agile teams (must have deep Jira experience); prior deployment inside classified DoD network enclaves. Proven record of achieving ATO in classified environments. Stakeholder Management – Proven ability to lead multi-vendor, cross-disciplinary teams as the single authoritative technical voice, resolving conflicting priorities and driving alignment among stakeholders. AI/ML Expertise – solid grasp of anomaly detection techniques (autoencoders, GANs, Bayesian diagnosis), MLOps, Python ecosystem, GPU acceleration, and managing models. Software & DevSecOps – proficiency with micro‑services, container orchestration (K8s/Podman), CI/CD, GitLab, STIG hardening, ACAS, Nessus, and RMF/NCATT. Security Clearance – Active Secret (S) clearance, with preference for TS/SCI. Location Requirement – must reside within ~90minutes driving radius of Welcome / La Plata,MD and commit to on‑site presence as necessary for program success. Other Skills – exceptional product management, road mapping, backlog prioritization, release orchestration, and risk communication abilities; strong customer-facing presentation skills; persuasive technical communications to direct program pathing and outcomes to align with Knowmadics’ strategic objectives. Working conditions

This job is remote, but with the expectation of a hybrid work environment with frequent classified lab visits and briefings Occasional evening or weekend support for testing events or other troubleshooting support. On‑call support during live testing operations or high‑priority events. Physical requirements

Ability to lift/carry 40 lb. rack components. Extended screen time; standing / sitting in secure facilities for hardware operations.
