Overview
Super Soccer Stars - General Manager (Part-Time) in Putnam County. This role is 20 hours per week, split between coaching on the field and administrative tasks off the field. Base pay range: $25,000.00/yr - $35,000.00/yr. Location: Putnam County, NY and surrounding areas; travel up to an hour to reach potential client/partner sites. We are seeking an energetic, hands-on manager to grow and manage Super Soccer Stars programs in the community, wearing many hats across coaching, partnerships, and operations. Responsibilities
Coaching on the field for approximately 50% of scheduled hours; Oversight of day-to-day operations and program scheduling; Strategic schedule building and administration; Partner relationships and management with schools, parks, community centers, and other facilities; Hiring, developing, and mentoring staff; training new coaches; Overseeing equipment, field logistics, and permits; Tracking program participation and identifying opportunities for growth; Maintaining program quality, managing last-minute cancellations, and ensuring smooth operations. Qualifications & Requirements
Experience in coaching or facilitating youth soccer programs; Ability to recruit, schedule, and support local staff with reliable coverage; Strong communication skills to provide clear, professional updates and resolve issues quickly; Capacity to manage multiple sites and partnerships, and to switch between field leadership and administrative tasks; Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with interest in both soccer coaching and program growth.
