Overview
Description Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a CSfC Solutions Engineer to join our team supporting the development and deployment of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) architectures. This position plays a critical role in configuring, testing, and deploying CSfC solutions that secure classified networks and data for U.S. government customers. The ideal candidate has senior-level expertise in Linux (particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux), deep networking knowledge, and experience implementing DoD-compliant cybersecurity and encryption technologies. 100% onsite. Responsibilities
Implement CSfC compliant solutions that meet NSA, DoD, and customer requirements. Collaborate with other operations departments to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and efficiency of the CSfC system. Develop and modify system scripts (e.g., Bash, Python). Write standardized system documentation, including configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materials. Evaluate current CSfC systems, identify improvements, and implement new technologies to enhance performance and efficiency. Configure, administer, and maintain systems (RHEL, vCenter, vSAN, Windows Server, HPE) to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements. Support all Cross-Domain solution requirements. Serve as escalation contact during outages and provide Tier 2 and 3 support. Author Systems Engineering Design Packages including detailed implementation project plans and procedures. Perform systems design and systems integration; design, develop, implement, test, and maintain complex secure communications systems. Configure and manage PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions and certificate systems (ISC CertAgent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat). Document configuration, test procedures, results, and training materials; prepare test reports and configuration documentation according to customer standards. Provide on-site customer training on solution daily use, management, and troubleshooting; provide on-site solution installation and integration. Identify and recommend hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies, interfacing with customers and vendors. Provide technical expertise to sales engineering teams during complex systems developments. Serve as Systems Integrator for various DoD contracts; apply DoD STIGs and IAVAs. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Top Secret OR Higher OR Secret Clearance level with completed T5 investigation; Certifications (IAT Level II) such as Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC SCNP, SSCP, or Professional Systems Certification (e.g., MCSA, Linux). 10+ years of engineering experience; BA/BS (12 years) or MA/MS (10 years). Ability to travel up to 20%. Salary
