Augusta University's Medical College of Georgia, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a mix of clinical care, teaching, and research in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows while providing high-level care for medically and surgically complex pregnancies. This position does not meet the requirements to be on a tenure track. Responsibilities

Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative care for high-risk pregnancies. Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging and diagnostic procedures (e.g., ultrasound, amniocentesis, CVS). Participate in labor and delivery coverage and multidisciplinary care planning. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in or lead research and scholarly activities aligned with departmental goals. Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and program development initiatives. Required Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia. Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, education, and research. Assistant Professor- Early level career as a faculty member with appropriate post graduate training. Associate Professor- Mid level career faculty member with at least five years at rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training, background, and experience. Professor- Senior level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Associate Professor or comparable training, background, and experience. Required faculty employment qualifications

Consistent with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)'s requirements for institutional accreditation; Evidence of ability as a teacher; Evidence of activity as a scholar and ability in all other duties assigned; Successful experience (which will necessarily be waived for those just entering the academic profession who meet all other requirements); and, Desirable personal qualities judged on the basis of personal interview, complete biographical data, and recommendations. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with clinical or translational research. Track record of scholarly publications. Interest or experience in program development, global health, or health initiatives. Shift/Salary/Benefits

This position is fiscal year based and works year-round. The intended work commitment or full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is 1.0 and considered full-time. Assistant Professor- Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.
