Frontier Management is seeking an experienced Executive Director to manage the day-to-day operations of the Escalante at Coventry community located in Salt Lake City, UT. The Executive Director will lead all departments, strive for maximum occupancy, high resident satisfaction and quality resident care/services, and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal requirements. Demonstrated success as a leader in similar settings is required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the delivery of quality care and services and promote positive resident and family relations; respond promptly to resident needs, requests and concerns; foster a culture where each resident is treated with utmost importance. Operate the community to meet budget and census guidelines to support profitability. Direct and monitor all marketing activities to achieve a 100% occupied community. Provide resident programs focused on social interaction, arts and crafts, physical exercise, education, religious services, and community involvement. Comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and company rules; develop positive rapport with state regulatory representatives. Oversee healthcare-related programs and services (medications, bathing, staff development, charting) and ensure adherence to state-mandated rules. Direct and monitor timely and accurate billings, accounting and bookkeeping. Assist in move-in coordination and regularly review residents’ status under Residency Agreements. Lead the community team, including recruiting and retention, performance management, employee development, coaching and feedback. Monitor kitchen sanitation, meals quality and service, and overall resident satisfaction. Implement a quality assurance program to evaluate department performance on an ongoing basis. Provide a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. Other Requirements
Must have an appropriate professional license in good standing (e.g., RCF, ALF, BH, MC, RCFE). Ability to relate to the elderly in a positive manner; strong marketing and public relations skills. Understanding of budgeting, financial record keeping, reporting, and applicable state and federal regulations; ability to apply this understanding to ensure smooth operation. Minimum of three (3) years of management experience in operating a retirement, assisted living, or skilled nursing community, or related business. High school diploma or higher with relevant management training/certification; current Assisted Living Administrator certification. Proven ability to lead teams and develop people; strong verbal and written communication skills. State-specific driver’s license and acceptable driving record; fidelity bondable. The Executive Director qualifies for Performance Based Bonus Programs.
