Rush Specialty Hospital , a partnership between Select Medical and RUSH, is a 100-bed facility that combines a critical illness recovery hospital and an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Our team is committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services and exceptional rehabilitation services for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Position : Director of Plant Operations Location : Chicago, IL Schedule : Full Time Compensation : $85,000 - $135,000 / annually (based on experience) Note: This description reflects the role as presented. Responsibilities
Planning, directing, and supervising all administrative and technical aspects of the department. Developing, reviewing, and managing the activities of self and other personnel in the department. Actively participating in hospital committees which impact this department, with specific responsibility on the Safety and Infection Control Committees. Establishing and maintaining a Quality Control Program. Maintaining Environment of Care and OSHA standards in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Overseeing maintenance of the facility and grounds, provision of utilities, restoration and renovation of the facility, and new construction. Minimum Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in maintenance, environmental services, and related services in a hospital environment. Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards required. Preferred Qualifications
College Degree related to building construction and maintenance preferred. Benefits
