Job Summary This opportunity is at FreeWheel, a Comcast Company. Within Comcast Advertising, the Beeswax organization is building an easy to use, massive scale and high availability advertising platform. We are looking for a Backend Python Developer to join our collaborative cross-functional product team building the web application that empowers customers to configure their nuanced advertising strategy. Required Skills:

Professional experience with Python development and creating/developing RESTful API’s using Django. 2+ Years of experience working with any backend related technology. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relatable technical field or experience equivalent. Core Responsibilities

Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Trains junior Software Development Engineers on internally developed software applications. Oversees the researching, writing and editing of documentation and technical requirements. Keeps current with technological developments within the industry. Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
