This role supports a team of Application Engineers, Database Engineers, Information Systems Security Engineers, Network Engineers, Software Engineers, System Administrators, Systems Engineers, and Technical Writers, by supporting the full life cycle of IT resources. Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems). Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results; resolve software problem reports. Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment; provide input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis. Design or modify software to add features; integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments; develop data queries for databases or data repositories. Perform ServiceNow development and administration tasks, including workflow creation and form customization; implement API integrations with external systems. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements; debug and correct defects; contribute to documentation and process improvements. Design, develop, and modify software systems using appropriate mathematical models and algorithms; implement complex algorithms with timing, resource, or interface constraints; ensure quality control on team products. Lead software development efforts at the level appropriate to the process in use; coordinate with system and hardware engineers to derive requirements and capabilities; monitor installation and ensure operational specifications are met. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required (or four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted). Two (2) years of experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog. Four (4) years of IT application systems experience in technology solutions delivery is required. Certifications: CWIP IAT Level 2; ServiceNow System Administrator or ServiceNow Application Developer certification is required. Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph. Proficiency in ServiceNow development and administration (including workflow creation, form customization, and Flow Designer); API integrations with external systems. Strong programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for ServiceNow customization; knowledge of ITSM and Agile methodologies, including ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and Jira. Experience with data-driven design, performance analysis, and developing and executing test procedures for software components. Ability to lead teams and coordinate with cross-functional groups; develop and optimize software architectures and data interfaces. Seniority level
