This role is based in Irvine, CA. What You’ll Do
Lead the definition, design, and execution of product verification and validation activities throughout the product development life cycle Implement and automate software verification tests by defining and delivering test cases written against software requirements Analyze and simulate requirements per customer specifications or internal product requirements Review use cases, requirements, and specifications to ensure they can be verified and validated, including risk mitigations, usability, and regulatory considerations Execute complex testing, perform in-depth statistical analysis, and interpret results independently Ensure testing and results are traced to requirements with objective evidence Summarize results in reports with conclusions or recommendations Lead ad hoc testing and potential failure mode analysis as a hands-on subject matter expert Conduct V&V Design Reviews in accordance with project plans and company procedures Maintain knowledge of current regulatory requirements and standards relevant to development and testing Provide technical leadership to a growing team Collaborate with leaders to build cohesive, end-to-end experiences for users across Anduril’s business lines Advocate for excellent engineering culture within the team Required Qualifications
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in Software testing or related technical experience Experience with requirements-based verification and automated test strategies Extensive knowledge of software development, processes, and verification tools (e.g., C/C++, Python) Experience architecting software test plans in the Aerospace and Defense space Knowledge of requirements management, risk-based testing, defect tracking, and configuration control Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies Experience in Software Development Life Cycle and software verification techniques Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance tools and techniques Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance Preferred Qualifications
Experience standing up automated hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure Functional knowledge of software development, verification, and validation requirements for DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C Experience developing testable requirements and understanding of DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C verification objectives Salary & Benefits
