Overview
Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst at Woolpert. This position reports to the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions and is responsible for providing critical support to the M&A team through financial modeling, due diligence coordination, integration scheduling and task management, reporting, and data room management. This role helps drive smooth transaction execution, lays the groundwork for successful post-close integrations, and supports coordinated integration activities across cross-functional teams. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located. Essential Functions
Build and maintain detailed financial models for valuation, scenario and data analysis, and synergy forecasting. Coordinate and execute due diligence tasks, gathering and analyzing financial, operational, and legal information. Manage virtual data rooms: structure documents, control access, and ensure version accuracy. Develop, monitor, and track integration project schedules, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, and update status reports. Prepare deal materials, including investment memos, board presentations, and executive summaries. Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to inform deal strategy. Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory services, or a related consulting background. Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling techniques. Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail and deadline orientation. Experience with data room platforms (e.g., Firmex, Datasite, Intralinks), document management best practices, and project management tools (e.g. SmartSheet, MS Project, Midaxo). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline. Preferred Skills and Abilities
Exposure to architecture, engineering, geospatial, technology services, or professional services industries. Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics 365. Proficiency in PowerPoint and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. Unique Benefits
