About the Company This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, cultivating retail relationships, and driving strategy at the national level. The Role The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing existing retail partnerships while expanding product distribution across Conventional Grocery, Mass, and Club channels. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring strong collaboration across marketing, operations, and finance to ensure brand growth and long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities Lead sales strategy and execution across mainstream retail accounts in North America Build and manage direct relationships with buyers, brokers, distributors, and key stakeholders Expand distribution, product portfolio, and regional presence Develop and execute commercialization strategies for new products and categories Analyze market trends, category performance, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks Collaborate cross-functionally on promotional planning, packaging optimization, and pricing strategy Draft annual sales plans, set KPIs, and provide regular business updates to leadership Forecast sales activity and revenue while ensuring alignment with business goals Support field sales teams with category stories, merchandising plans, and customer-facing tools Travel extensively (up to 75%) to manage customer meetings, trade shows, and market visits What We’re Looking For 8–12+ years of sales experience, ideally within consumer packaged goods (food, beverage, or adjacent industries) Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing national accounts Strong experience in new product commercialization and category management Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategy and execution Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills Willingness to travel frequently for customer and market engagement Preferred Experience: National account management in both food and beverage categories Deep understanding of pricing, promotions, and retail programming Experience working with brokers, distributors, and retail chains Comfortable navigating a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment Note: This is a full-time Director position in Sales and Business Development, with a salary range of $140,000 - $160,000.
