About the Position: Our client, a sophisticated Midwest-based national law firm, has an active need for a finance lawyer (8+ yrs) with significant private equity and lending experience to join its thriving practice as a Partner in Chicago. This full-service firm represents some of the most well-known corporations in the country and offers a small office atmosphere with the resources of a large law firm. Highlights: · Ranked as a top law firm in the Midwest by Vault Law · Firm named on Best Lawyers’ list of “Best Law Firms” for 2025 · No business required · Collegial environment Responsibilities: · Advise commercial finance companies, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors on leveraged finance and corporate acquisition transactions · Manage all aspects of finance transactions, including negotiation, documentation, and closing Required Qualifications: · 8+ years of corporate finance transactions experience · Strong experience with private equity sponsor-backed lending Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $300,000+.
