Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Join our Marketing and Communications Team as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator in our Phoenix, Denver, or Chicago Office. This role works directly within the communications team while collaborating with and as an integral part of the global marketing and communications team. The position reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager.
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for a range of marketing and communications duties focused on supporting content development firmwide, including content creation and content management activities.
Responsibilities
Uploads attorney biographies to the firm website and edits/adds as needed in the content management system
Uploads articles, news, press releases, and publications to the website, proposal system, PRWeb, and other platforms
Writes and reviews attorney biographies; updates and reviews content as needed
Creates and edits website pages in the content management system
Gathers and compiles content for a weekly newsletter from various sources, including press releases and submissions
Uploads and edits content to the firm’s proposal/content system, including the experience database
Reviews, edits, and updates marketing collateral
Maintains databases, assists with tracking, and pulls reports related to media and content
Collaborates with marketing and other business professionals across the firm
Assists with other projects as assigned and supports other tasks as needed
Qualifications Skills & Competencies
Excellent prioritization and time management skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills; able to communicate effectively with attorneys and professionals at all levels
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Strong client-first work ethic
Attention to detail; able to manage multiple tight deadlines
Tech-savvy problem solver with the ability to learn new programs or systems
Self-starter and team player; able to work independently and take direction
Preferred: excellent writing/copyediting skills, including experience in business and/or legal writing
Familiarity with AP Style and strong understanding of English grammar and style
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; majors in journalism, public relations, English, communications, or related field preferred
Two to four years of relevant experience in a marketing/communications role at a law firm, professional services firm, or in a regulated industry
Experience at a law firm or professional services firm strongly preferred
Technology
Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge/experience with a website content management system (Sitecore preferred)
Knowledge/experience with newsletter software (Concep preferred)
Compensation The Expected Pay Range For This Position Is $32.31 to $35.90 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and other programs.
