Role Overview Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes. With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which reference and reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. All JMM eyewear is ethically sourced and produced with the utmost respect for industry partners' environment and wellbeing.

The Jacques Marie Mage Gallery Director is tasked with driving a culture of excellence by leading and developing a highly motivated team while ensuring an exceptional client experience that reflects the brand’s luxury heritage and craftsmanship. You will represent the Jacques Marie Mage brand story on the sales floor, engaging with clients to deliver personalized, high-touch service. In collaboration with the Retail Director, you will oversee store operations, sales performance, and brand representation, ensuring the gallery meets its business goals while maintaining the highest standards of service and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities DELIVERY OF PERFORMANCE & KPI’S

Lead by example to foster growth and development of retail teams to achieve Gallery goals

Ensure daily Policy & Procedures and checklists are being adhered to

KPI’s: >30% appointment business, conversion, ATV & UPT

Strategic business analysis supported by weekly and monthly reporting to achieve results

Elevate and nurture existing client relationships to drive retention and repeat experiences

Establish and build the client base through new client recruitment and networking

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Drive performance through client experience & CRM

Ensure consistent delivery of client experience

Strategic planning to ensure completion of CRM initiatives

Established appointment based business >30%

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Ensure operational excellence standards are adhered to

Gallery maintenance and aesthetic is consistently maintained

Manage T&A, scheduling, and payroll

TEAM DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING

Maintain and ignite a positive team culture within the Gallery

Ensure the team consistently represents JMM as a brand ambassador

Exude brand and product knowledge through storytelling

Identify key areas for improvement and development

Celebrate wins and successes

Key Requirements

3-5 years store management experience

Experience in a luxury environment

Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, and Shopify

Impeccable speaking and communication skills

Maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and mentorship mentality

Ability to work under pressure and multitask

Experience working in a client based business

Optician license is a plus
