The Senior Project Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for leading project teams to deliver multiple medium to large-sized cybersecurity, IT, and business software projects that span multiple departments, with multi-year durations, managing resources, stakeholders, schedules, issues, risks, reporting, and project changes to ensure successful project delivery. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with cross functional teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to build and deliver solutions to support cybersecurity posture and business operations. Understands and manages the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs. Develops and updates project schedules, track key project milestones, and implement adjustments to complete projects and ensure high quality deliverables. Identify, track, and manage project risks, assumptions, issues and decisions. Communicates project status, risks, issues, scope, and changes to appropriate leaders, stakeholders, and project team members. Manages, conducts, executes, champions, and directs project staff on communication, project execution and utilization while keeping within the project scope and budget. Utilizes and/or improves PMO templates, workflows, and processes to support the needs of the team. Facilitates procurement packages and assists the Procurement Department with contract and work order scope negotiations and provides contract administration and vendor relationship management. Other All job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences/Information Technologies, or related field preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. A minimum of eight (8) years of direct work experience in an IT and business software project manager capacity in all aspects of process execution to include a minimum of 4 years of cybersecurity focused projects. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in complex procurement processes. Proficiency in system and software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC). Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid). Excellent and demonstrated written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint. Proficient with project management scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA and Smartsheets. Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details. Demonstrated experience in matrixed resource management, including project team members, stakeholders, executive sponsors and contractors. Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including defensive practices and threat tactics. OR An Equivalent Combination Of Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities. Starting salary is based on the candidate’s relevant and verified education, training and work experience.
