Overview

We’re looking for a hybrid thinker—a strategic content leader with UX intuition and digital-first instincts. As Program Manager, Content Experience you’ll lead content strategy and experience design for a suite of customer enablement platforms and websites. This role blends editorial excellence, user-centered thinking, and web experience management to deliver cohesive, on-brand, and high-performing content ecosystems across our digital touchpoints. This is not a traditional content creation role. It’s a unique blend of content strategy leadership, experience planning, and user-centric thinking that ensures customers find value, clarity, and continuity in every interaction. You’ll be instrumental in shaping how we structure information, present enablement content, and build intuitive, elegant digital experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Messaging

Lead the development of content strategy frameworks that span customer messaging, information architecture, technical and long-form customer enablement content.

Define and evolve content governance, voice, tone, and taxonomy across multiple properties and user journeys.

Partner with technical subject matter experts teams to create high-value thought leadership and educational content that drives customer adoption.

UX & Experience Design Partnership

Participate in and influence front-end experience design decisions with a content-first approach that prioritizes accessibility, clarity, and user value.

Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, marketers, community management, and developers to define the content layer of web experiences, from wireframes to final builds.

Help shape navigation, labeling, microcopy, and contextual content with a focus on findability and user empowerment.

Web Experience Management

Own the strategic planning and execution of digital content for a portfolio of customer enablement platforms.

Maintain consistency in voice, brand standards, and information structure across global websites.

Work as partner to platform administrators to create user-first solutions.

Manage and triage update requests on your suite of webpages & platforms.

Content Operations & Optimization

Establish scalable processes for content planning, creation, publishing, and maintenance.

Use data, UX research, and analytics to assess performance and inform continuous content improvement.

Drive experimentation and A/B testing to refine messaging, page structures, and digital flows for conversion and engagement.

What We’re Looking For Must-Haves

3+ years of experience in UX writing or digital content leadership, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or enterprise environments.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs that bring together content, design, and product perspectives.

Deep expertise in structuring and scaling digital content—taxonomies, IA, tagging, editorial workflows, CMS management.

Solid understanding of UX design principles and human-centered content planning.

Experience crafting content for multiple formats: UI microcopy, marketing landing pages, longform thought leadership, product messaging.

Strong grasp of modern web technologies and digital platforms (HTML/CSS familiarity a plus, but not required).

Analytical mindset: able to leverage data to drive decisions and present insights to stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a confident presenter and cross-functional collaborator.

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms, wireframing apps, and community platforms.

Knowledge of SEO best practices, personalization, and content optimization tools.

Passion for new content technologies, AI-enabled content, or content automation.

Experience with technical training, learning management systems, and digital learning paradigms.

Benefits and Compensation Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$101,300 - $144,700 - $188,100

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
