Director of Project Financial Management & Controls to build and lead their expanding team, based in Denver, CO, with flexibility for remote work arrangements. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and oversight of comprehensive project budgets and forecasts, ensuring disciplined cost management across all capital projects. Provide timely financial reporting and analysis to leadership and project teams, highlighting variances and actionable insights for decision-making. Establish and refine standardized financial processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and consistency across project lifecycles. Oversee cost tracking, allocations, and compliance, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, contractual requirements, and audit standards. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing project financial management team while collaborating cross-functionally to support successful project delivery. Qualifications
10+ years of experience in project financial management and controls within large-scale energy, power, industrial, or nuclear projects. Proven experience supporting major EPC or construction projects, including budgets of $100M or more. Strong expertise in project controls, including cost management, scheduling, earned value, and risk assessment, along with familiarity with project management and ERP systems. Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, and the ability to interpret large datasets for actionable insights.
