In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. As a Partner Engineer, you will work on driving new partner integrations within Gemini, ensuring a frictionless partner experience, and improving existing partner/user experience. Responsibilities
Drive new partner integrations within Gemini, ensuring a frictionless partner experience. Improve existing partner/user experience and grow user value. Contribute to the evolution of Gemini through Large Language Model-based solutions/processes (e.g., tools/colabs) for partner schema ingestion, data preparation, and quality iterations (prompt engineering, running evals, loss bucket analysis, SFT data points). Influence product strategy and work with cross-functional teams to bring partner-facing features to market. Advocate seamless partner and user experience and advocate for user and partner success with Engineering and Product teams. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and latest machine learning research, tools, and techniques. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python). Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics. Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
