Overview

Government Security Compliance Risk Manager, AWS Compliance & Security Assurance. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), Security is our highest priority. The AWS Security Assurance team develops regulatory and authority documentation for security requirements and long-term strategies to meet customer and regulatory security assurance needs. We are looking for a highly motivated industry expert to join our Government Assurance Team where you will own the strategic direction and operation as part of the US Government Compliance Program (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD). Responsibilities

Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance documentation program activities and implement improvements to scale delivery. Lead and manage projects and campaigns with strong project management skills. Create operational mechanisms to address recurring escalation patterns and communicate status and key deliverables to leadership. Lead escalations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address requests for team support. Dive deep into AWS compliance program operations to develop domain and technical understanding of regulatory and customer expectations and drive process improvements. Bridge communication between technical engineering and business teams to capture and document control activities. Maintain a quality rhythm of the business for managing compliance expectations and distill inputs from diverse customer segments to design long-term solutions. Lead large, challenging initiatives and campaigns to advance the US Public Sector compliance program. About The Team

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4+ years of program or project management experience Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials Experience with SQL and Excel Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year to $142,800/year, depending on location and experience.
