Adjunct Lecturer
to teach in the
online Master of Arts in Sustainable Energy
program. This is a remote, part-time teaching opportunity beginning in
Spring 2026, with preparation work starting late Fall 2025 . Key Responsibilities Collaborate with an instructional designer from the Educational Design & Instructional Technology team to develop the online course: Sustainable Energy & Climate Change. Engage students in a dynamic, interactive, and rigorous online learning environment using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and other technologies. Serve as the instructor of record for the newly developed course at least two times over future terms, to include: developing and delivering engaging course content, facilitating online class discussions, and maintaining accurate records of grades, attendance, and academic performance. Qualifications At least five years of deep and demonstrated expertise in energy transition and climate policy is essential. Prior teaching experience, especially with strong student evaluations, is highly preferred. Experience teaching in online format is a plus. Education A Ph.D. is preferred but not required; candidates with relevant professional experience are encouraged to apply.
