Overview

A leading MEP consulting and sustainability-focused engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its metro NYC (Hoboken, NJ) team. The team delivers a full suite of services, including HVAC, electrical power and lighting, low voltage systems, plumbing and fire protection, building electrification, net zero energy consulting, commissioning, and sustainability strategy. Role Highlights

Design electrical power systems for a diverse range of building types, including hospitals, laboratories, high-rise residential, hotels, offices, and other commercial and institutional projects. Collaborate with commissioning engineers and, at times, lead infrastructure reviews and retro-commissioning efforts focused on energy conservation and operational improvements. Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software. Ensure project schedules and budgets are met while maintaining high technical standards. Attend meetings with architects, owners, and building managers to discuss ongoing and future projects. Review submittals and respond to RFIs. Conduct work in accordance with internal procedures, industry standards, and relevant legislation. Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. 8-15 years of experience designing building power systems for healthcare, higher education, high-rise residential, hotel, office, and other commercial or institutional facilities. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office suite. Excellent technical, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of code compliance and industry standards. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team. PE registration is highly preferred, or EIT with the ability to obtain a PE.
