Overview
Infosys is seeking a SAP GTS Principal Consultant. You will be a key player in the consulting team and a subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensively involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution, and play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes and deliverables, contribute to proposal development, client training and internal capability building, and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Richardson/Houston, TX or Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ or Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to any of these locations.
Responsibilities
Provide SAP GTS functional implementation and integration with S/4HANA/ECC. Lead business process consulting for SAP GTS compliance management, including sanctions list screening, embargo and legal control, and SPL screening. Oversee SAP GTS customs management, export/import declarations and related procedures. Work with middleware such as Seeburger, CPI, and EDI PCC/IPR; support AES/ATLAS requirements for exports/imports. Engage in international trade processes such as FTZ, inward/outward relief, and customs warehouses. Contribute to project scope definition, proposals, client training and internal capability building.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; up to three years of progressive experience may substitute each year of education. At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology. Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. SAP Solution Architect with proven experience on SAP GTS. Strong experience with SAP GTS integration with S/4HANA/ECC; experience with GTS E4H implementation. Business process functional consulting on SAP GTS compliance management. Experience with SAP GTS compliance management (SPL screening, etc.), Customs Management, and related declarations. Experience with export/import declarations and related authorities; familiarity with middleware. Knowledge of FTZ, inward/outward relief, and customs warehouses.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing GTS Preference Management module, including preference determination and Free Trade Agreements. Regional Value Content calculation, LTVDs, LTVDs for customer purposes, HS/product classification, and European Intrastat reporting. Experience with SAP GTS Broker Interface for customs paperwork.
Travel
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The role may require sitting and working at a computer for extended periods and communicating by telephone, email or in person.
