Mechanical Engineer

with a passion for hands-on design and prototyping – someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to be at the heart of next-gen space system development. What You’ll Be Doing: Designing and testing spacecraft structures, mechanisms, and solar arrays Integrating avionics and harnessing systems with the electrical engineering team Running mechanical and thermal analysis on critical components Developing hardware for both flight systems and ground support Leading design reviews, managing BOMs, and sourcing materials suited for space environments Shaping high-level spacecraft architecture and improving in-house testing facilities About You: 3+ years in spacecraft mechanical design and integration BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering Strong CAD experience (NX preferred) and comfort with GD&T Background in composites or metallic structures, with solid prototyping experience Comfortable with structural and thermal analysis (FEA and Thermal Desktop/NX Nastran a plus) Nice to Have (But Not Dealbreakers): Experience with environmental testing (vibe, TVAC) Machine shop and hands-on fabrication skills Python or other scripting abilities for automation Don’t meet every requirement?
