Job Description

The Senior Graphics Designer creates ground-up broadcast motion design work, in-game graphics, as well as updating existing elements and templates. You will be working with a tight group of sports design creatives. An engaging spirit is essential to the success of this role, elevating the craft with a ‘get-to-air’ urgency. Responsibilities : Create graphic and animated elements including transitions, interstitials, show packages, opens, and titles Design in-game insert graphic systems and layouts with comprehensive knowledge and expertise Effectively communicate concepts and ideas to the Art Director and design team Work on multiple packages and projects at the same time, while maintaining consistency with the overall graphic package Collaborate with multiple producers and departments under tight deadlines, and short timelines Understand the implementation of design elements in network television studio and live sports environments Qualifications

5+ years’ experience working at a Network or broadcast design agency College graduate with degree in graphic design or fine arts Strong design and typography skills Strong at concept & storyboard Excellent presentation and communication skills Must be flexible, detail-oriented, deadline driven and a good collaborator Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects Expert knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D Desired Characteristics : Passion for current trends in graphic design. Understand the value of good motion theory Extensive knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D, including modeling, texturing, lighting, animating, use of dynamics, MoGraph, render optimization, Red Shift, etc. Love of sports is a plus Passion for smart, functional design, and an understanding of the balance between information and entertainment Additional Requirements : Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT (Hybrid) Must be willing to work nights and weekends Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Must be 18 years or older This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
