The Territory Manager - Long Beach, CA is responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, supporting pull-through activities relative to the customer strategy and market access, delivering sales results, and ensuring Radius Health is viewed as a valued partner to healthcare professionals and their patients. The Territory Manager will develop product and disease-state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals and educate on approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients. Essential Responsibilities

Develop and drive outstanding sales performance to meet or exceed sales forecasts. Use assigned budgets to drive therapeutic and territory objectives; customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner. Maintain understanding of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers; share information with Radius stakeholders. Collaborate with customers at accounts to understand practice structure, business model, and opportunities; identify business opportunities. Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region; identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system. Regularly use analytical tools to understand the business and determine how to achieve sales objectives; apply resources such as HCP educational programs and samples ethically. Work with leadership to develop a local business plan to achieve KPI goals and sales objectives; capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities. Coordinate selling efforts with other Radius Health personnel. Provide timely administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, sample management, and expense reporting. Experience and Qualifications

Self-motivated with initiative, strong decision-making, and collaboration skills across functions; able to learn and adapt to obstacles. 5+ years of previous sales experience in orthopedics, injectable pharmaceuticals, biologics, buy-and-bill, or medical devices preferred. Experience calling on hospitals, endocrinologists, and rheumatologists preferred. Experience in a science or healthcare environment developing customer relationships. Understanding of account-based selling, osteoporosis, biologics, and injectable markets a plus. Experience working with Specialty Pharmacies, Distribution Hubs, and Managed Care providers. Ability to build a business plan based on customer needs, resources, and products. Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress and identify opportunities. Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information effectively. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver's license and safe driving record; overnight travel may be required. Work Environment

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 plus incentive; discussions for an increased range may be considered based on experience and location.
