Senior Manager Customer Marketing, West
— The Senior Manager of Customer Shopper Marketing will serve as a strategic bridge between national brand initiatives and localized customer marketing execution across Shaw Industries’ residential flooring portfolio. Operating within the West Region—preferably based in Southern California—this role partners closely with sales leaders and top-tier clients, particularly independent flooring dealers, to tailor and activate co-marketing plans that drive sales, elevate brand presence, and deliver exceptional consumer experiences. With a focus on digital marketing, ROI measurement, and cross-functional collaboration, the position translates national strategies into impactful regional programs, manages budgets and co-op funds, and optimizes customer engagement across channels including builder, retail, and home center segments. The ideal candidate has B2B2C shopper marketing and customer co-marketing experience, along with strong digital campaign creation and measurement. This position will work from our west region in the field (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CO, NM, AZ, CA, NV, UT). The preferred location is in the Southern CA - Orange County area, but will be open to other cities in the region as long as you reside close to a major airport. Responsibilities
Works with our independent retail and local builder partners to create best-in-class consumer experiences in-store and online, while driving sales and increasing brand desirability. Executive the strategy across Shaw’s brands and customer groups (e.g., Shaw Flooring Network and other buy groups). Main KPI is to establish and deliver the brand’s financial targets within the West geography. Deliver consistent brand experiences to key independent retail customers and their consumers through strategic co-marketing plans, sell-in plans, advertising, marketing and promotional assets, digital marketing, and online content that support sales goals and annual plans. Develop and execute customer annual co-marketing plans and supporting creative, including detailed budgets aligned with Sales and advertising plans; deploy promotional plans from Shaw National Brand strategies at a local level and from buy group/Shaw Flooring Network teams. Measure ROI and ROAS for digital and trade marketing initiatives; manage and track annual marketing spend and effectiveness by customer. Manage co-op/BDF funds with customers to ensure effective use. Continuously optimize the online consumer experience through trade partner websites, content management, online product demos, ratings/reviews management, and digital co-marketing campaigns. Establish regular cadence of meetings with key customers’ marketing departments to plan, measure, and improve. Support marketing needs of key product launches across brands by leveraging Brand content and coordinating with Sales, Digital and Training teams for robust launches at each customer. Travel within the United States is required, primarily within the West geography and to headquarters in Dalton, GA. Preferred location in Southern California; options near a major airport within the West region. This role reports to the VP, Customer Marketing. Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or similar; 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, customer/channel/trade marketing, sales, channel management or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills. Strong budget management and analytical skills. Action-oriented and able to respond in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of digital marketing content and platforms and their measurement. Preferred
