We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Strategist and people leader to lead customer management marketing strategy from intent development, test and creative strategy through in-market execution across multiple channels. The right candidate will have experience leading a team and developing and executing large-scale, marketing campaigns. Serve as the Marketing Strategy team lead in a collaborative cross-functional team and partner with them to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to drive continued engagement and retention with our customers. Oversee development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns on a national scale to drive customers to engage with credit card offerings and deliver a thoughtful communications experience through robust, always-on creative testing. Enable marketers to shepherd multiple marketing creative projects at once from brief to execution through our process while ensuring strategic intent aligns with execution/delivery at every step and timelines are met. Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes. Ideal Candidate:

Has experience leading marketers in large organizations, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet execution timelines Detailed-oriented with strong prioritization skills Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing and presentation abilities Experience with a variety of marketing channels Can manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience At least 5 years of experience in brand strategy or product marketing experience on the agency or client side, with experience managing multiple channels At least 5 years of experience in planning, executing and analyzing marketing programs At least 5 years experience in managing creative processes, partnering with creative teams and developing marketing materials that drive results Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in marketing or business 2+ years of experience in marketing for financial services or another highly regulated industry 6+ years of experience driving optimization plans and creative strategy 6+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity Capital One is an equal opportunity employer committed to non-discrimination in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Marketing New York, NY: $159,400 - $181,900 for Manager, Marketing Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Marketing Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
