The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Desktop Support Technician Executive Support.
The
Senior Desktop Support Technician
acts as the primary support contact for Corporate C level executives, SVPs, and VPs that are both onsite and remote. Leads the annual hospital management conference technical support. Leads large scale software and hardware deployments that affect Executives, SVPs, and VPs. Consistently looks for improvement opportunities and areas where inefficient processes and procedures can be automated. Provides tier two support and advanced troubleshooting for complex issues, manages assigned project tasks and acts as a resource for other technicians. Trains new staff members and is responsible for transfer of knowledge documentation. Installs/configures PC desktops, laptops, and mobile devices in addition to troubleshooting network connectivity to ensure continuous system availability to the users in accordance with sound PC support practices. Key Responsibilities include: Manages and resolves Corporate C Level Executive support issues. Provides advanced troubleshooting for all desktop technology. Manages trouble requests for outages at corporate office and enterprise. Serves as a technical resource and leader for other team members including documentation of technical solutions Assists other technical teams with advanced issues including desktop management, server and/or infrastructure support assistance. Provides some leadership functions by documenting technical data, policies, and procedures and by offering advice, assistance, and on-the-job training to co-workers. Works on enhancing skills through training and/or by assisting with the projects of other technology teams. Position Requirements: 2-year technical school, 2 years of college coursework towards a Bachelors degree, or Associates degree required. 5 - 8 years of related experience required. Experience providing high level support to Executives and VPs in a timely manner. Experience handling complex technical issues and delivering consistently excellent customer service and communication. Advanced working knowledge of desktop technology including hardware, software, and network hardware. Initiative to learn new technologies and to succinctly explain them to Executives and other end users. Ability to work efficiently with multiple technical teams Travel Requirements:
5 25% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
