Non-Interventional Cardiologist 1.0 FTE Renton, WA Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based. About the position: Clinic Hours: Generally, 9 am – 4 pm + administrative time to round/ read echos, etc. General Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts per week Call: 1 weekday per week (set day) and average 1:6 weekends Average # of patients seen per day: 14 patients on a full day, 8-10 on half day Typical procedures: coronary angiograms, echocardiograms, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions Support staff- 2 RNs, 4 front desk, 10 MAs, 3 device techs, 1 surgery scheduler Practitioners: 13 - 4 interventionalists, 3 invasive cardiologists, 3 EPs, 4 APPs Qualifications: BE/BC in Cardiology Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority >3 years post fellowship experience preferred Located in Renton, Washington, Valley Medical Center is affiliated with the University of Washington Medicine System and is the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider between Seattle and Tacoma, serving more than 600,000 residents.
