Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field. 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting. Experience working with two or more from the following: iOS app development, SwiftUI/UIKit, Google Maps. Experience with computer vision and Augmented Reality (AR). Experience with geometric models and 3D coordinate systems. Expertise in performance profiling and optimization on mobile devices. About the job

In the Augmented Reality (AR) Maps team, you will build the user-facing experiences that give our users intuitive ways to explore and navigate the world. Responsibilities
Architect and implement high-performance XR navigation components using Swift/Objective-C. Integrate and optimize motion tracking and localization algorithms to enable spatially aware user experiences. Collaborate closely with UX and product management to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on features, ensuring maximum user value and defining the future roadmap for Maps in XR. Maintain high standards for performance, stability, and code maintainability across the full development lifecycle.
