Overview About the role

As a Test Manager – ETL & Snowflake,

you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing initiatives across data platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables through strategic planning and execution. You will be a valued member of the Data & Analytics Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, project stakeholders, and client partners.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning sessions and define test strategies for data and API testing initiatives.

Author and implement comprehensive data test strategies aligned with business goals.

Estimate testing efforts, identify resource needs, and manage test execution timelines.

Facilitate UAT cycles, including defect triage meetings and closure tracking.

Drive quality assurance across ETL pipelines, Snowflake data warehouses, and Power BI dashboards.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Boston, MA. What you need to have to be considered

15+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on data and API testing.

Proven expertise in ETL testing, Snowflake, and Power BI dashboard validation.

Strong SQL skills for data validation and transformation testing.

Proficiency in test management tools and methodologies.

Experience in test automation and data testing tools.

Demonstrated success in managing large-scale testing projects and cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Experience facilitating UAT and working closely with business stakeholders.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.

Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 - $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
