A well-established, Indiana-based MEP engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Indianapolis team. This role is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative group focused on designing high-performing, reliable, and sustainable building systems across a range of project types—including education, municipal, commercial, public safety, and infrastructure.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers and industry partners to develop HVAC and mechanical systems that improve how people experience built environments. With a strong emphasis on quality, responsiveness, and real-world results, your work will have an immediate and lasting impact.

????️ What You’ll Do:

• Design HVAC and mechanical systems for new construction, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades
• Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools
• Produce construction documents, including coordinated drawings and specifications
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across architecture and engineering
• Conduct site visits and provide construction phase services, including RFI responses and submittal reviews
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, energy standards, and sustainability goals
• Engage in the full project cycle—from concept through closeout—with opportunities to lead and grow

???? What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC or mechanical systems design for buildings
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Solid understanding of mechanical codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainable design principles
• PE license preferred or actively pursuing licensure
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• A proactive, client-focused approach and desire for continuous learning
