JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Physician – Diagnostic Radiology

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Cades & Marion, SC

Service Setting: Hospital – Radiology

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: 04/01/2026 – Ongoing

Clinical Shift Schedule: • Mon–Wed: 8a–5p (Black River) • Thurs–Fri: 8a–5p (Marion) • Optional weekend day shifts: 7a–4p onsite at any location

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

PATIENT INFORMATION

Case Mix: - Black River – General diagnostic, barium swallows, ultrasound-guided biopsies

- Marion – General diagnostic, light IR, liver biopsies, CT biopsies Workload: 70–80 RVUs per shift

Coverage: Part of pool of 4 radiologists covering the RHN

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: 90 days

Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General diagnostic radiology

Barium swallows

Ultrasound-guided biopsies

Light IR procedures (Marion)

Liver biopsies

CT biopsies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active South Carolina medical license or FCVS

Degree: MD or DO

Fellowship: Required

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years)
