Counselor Supervisor
will supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and BayMark’s policies and procedures. The supervisor will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on the plan of care, identify other physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for assigned patients, and manage related expenditures responsibly within the company's budget. Responsibilities: Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients. Monitor treatment and counseling of all patients. Assign and amend counselors’ caseloads as necessary. Screen potential patients and determine eligibility. Supervise intake operations and review assessments for quality. Direct pre-admission decisions, case reviews, and counseling meetings to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Facilitate intake processes and conduct quality assurance file reviews. Review and countersign assessments and treatment plans for Interns. Manage counseling staff, facilitate performance discussions, and follow-up. Assist with interviews and new hire training. May be required to counsel a caseload of patients. Assist with incident reports and patient death reports as needed. Provide guidance for counselors obtaining licensure or certification. Oversee annual trainings and ensure completion. Conduct employee performance discussions and evaluations. Communicate concerns to staff and leadership. Attend staff meetings and assist in program development. Adhere to BayMark's code of conduct and meet service standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: LICSW or LMHC required. Applicants eligible for LICSW or LMHC with at least 1 year of supervisory experience will be considered. Minimum of 1 year experience in addiction treatment and case management preferred. Positive attitude towards chemically dependent patients and experience with this population. Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check. Bi-lingual skills are a plus. Salary Range: $75,258.00 to $83,619.00 annually, based on experience, education, and training.
