Sibley Memorial Hospital is a full-service community hospital. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.

General Summary

The Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting diagnostic treatment and counseling activities for out-patients and for in-patients at Sibley Memorial Hospital. These duties also include providing professional guidance to hospital staff for communicatively handicapped patients.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Must have at least one year experience in an acute care facility to include: dysphagia, aphasia, and videofluoroscopy.

DC License required.

Current CPR Certification required.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs).

Salary Range:

Minimum 37.02/hour - Maximum 61.07/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
