Position Summary: New England OB GYN Associates is seeking a board-certified (MFM) physician to establish ultrasound and consulting services within a General OB/GYN Private Practice group. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-volume practice focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills in obstetric ultrasound, including advanced fetal imaging and procedures, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide consultation and co-management of high-risk obstetric patients Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasounds, including detailed fetal anatomy scans, growth studies, BPPs, Dopplers, and fetal echocardiograms Collaborate with referring OB/GYNs, sonographers, genetic counselors, and other providers Participate in ultrasound quality assurance and program development Contribute to exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes Oversight of additional MFM and sonographers One-two (24) hour calls per month Participate in prenatal diagnostic clinics and interdisciplinary conferences Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
Qualifications: MD from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited MFM fellowship Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (ABOG) Expertise in obstetric ultrasound and fetal imaging required Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
Preferred Experience: Experience with ultrasound program development or leadership Proficiency in using ultrasound systems (GE)
